Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Windows Server Automation Engineer in Plano, TX for an 18‑month contract. The role focuses on building a highly automated Windows provisioning environment, leveraging Packer and CI/CD to create and deploy images.

Requires deep Windows Server expertise, Ansible-driven config management, and strong PowerShell development. You will work with OpenShift, VMware, Azure, and Git-based tools, contributing to upgrades and template-driven server provisioning in a bank environment.

Qualifications

4+ years Windows Server 2022/2025 experience.
5+ years PowerShell development.
4+ years Ansible experience and Windows automation.
2+ years HashiCorp Packer, Chocolatey.
GIT, Artifactory knowledge; experience with Azure cloud.
Terraform familiarity; Linux scripting welcome.

Responsibilities

Develop a next generation, highly automated server build environment.
Automate image creation and deployment using HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with distributed teams to design, test, and hand off solutions.
