Genesis10 is seeking a Windows Server Build Automation Engineer for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution, located in Jersey City, NJ (hybrid with 3 days onsite), Plano, TX, or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

The role focuses on building an automated server environment using Packer, Ansible, and PowerShell, within an Agile framework, with responsibilities spanning requirements gathering, design, and documentation for transition to operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with MS Windows Server.
• 4+ years of experience with Windows Server 2022/2025.
• 5+ years of PowerShell development experience
• 4+ years of experience with Ansible
• 2+ years of experience with HashiCorp Packer and Chocolatey
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform
• Experience with RedHat Linux
• Proficiency with GIT and Artifactory
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of NuGet

Responsibilities

• Develop a next generation, highly automated server build environment.
• Leverage HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines to automate image creation and deployment.
• Utilize Ansible-driven configuration management and extensive PowerShell development.
• Work with modern DevOps tooling such as JIRA within an agile delivery framework.

• Document solutions and transition them to operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a next generation, highly automated server build environment
• Leverage HashiCorp Packer and CI/CD pipelines to automate image creation and deployment
• Utilize Ansible-driven configuration management and extensive PowerShell development
• Work with modern DevOps tooling such as JIRA within an agile delivery framework
• Gather requirements, design and test new service offerings
• Document solutions and transition them to operational support

Requirements:

Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
