Job summary

Kinect is seeking a hands-on Vulnerability Threat Remediation Engineer to reduce security risk across a large enterprise Windows environment. This highly technical role focuses on troubleshooting, patching, remediation and automation rather than governance.

The candidate will collaborate across Security, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering and business teams; experience with SCCM/Intune and scripting is essential. Knowledge of AD/GP, VMware and SQL is a plus, with Azure/Linux considered a bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windows Server and desktop administration experience.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including blue screens/system crashes.
• Hands-on experience deploying patches and software, troubleshooting failed deployments, and resolving underlying issues.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, Patch My PC and Tenable.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with Python automation.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware and SQL.
• Experience performing vulnerability remediation in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Ability to work effectively across Security, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering and business teams.
