Job summary

TRISTAR seeks an experienced Software Integration Engineer to support a DoD software development and integration program in Bloomington, IN. The role focuses on configuring, deploying, and validating software builds in a Windows-centric enterprise environment using AD DS, VMware, and OpenShift.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting AD and OpenShift deployment issues, coordinating software releases, and performing comprehensive testing across multiple environments. Candidates should be U.S.

Qualifications

Experience integrating, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based software.
Experience with DoD, Navy, or other federal programs.
Experience with OpenShift Container Platform administration and deployment.
Experience with Kubernetes concepts including pods, deployments, services, routes, PVs, and namespaces.
Experience administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory Domain Services.
Experience deploying applications within OpenShift or Kubernetes-based container platforms.
Experience supporting software containerization and lifecycle management.
Experience supporting VMware virtual environments.
Understanding software release processes and configuration management principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Windows AD DS, domain membership, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services.
Deploy and troubleshoot containerized applications in OpenShift within Windows-based environments.
Support software containerization and deployment into OpenShift clusters.
Install, configure, and validate software builds, patches, and system updates into the baseline.
Assist with planning, coordination, execution, and validation of software releases.
Execute various testing disciplines including BAT, integration, regression, and V&V/CCT.
Develop, execute, and maintain test procedures, cases, plans, and reports.
Coordinate with systems engineering, cybersecurity, QA, DevSecOps, and CM for baselines.
Provide remote and on-site integration and test support as required.
Travel to government and contractor facilities for integration and test events.
