Job summary

Sapsf is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain automation for the Windows Server lifecycle across provisioning, configuration, modification, upgrade, remediation, and decommissioning.

You will build IaC with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Packer to support VMware, AWS, and Azure environments, and ensure secure, scalable automation through Git-based version control and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Ansible or configuration management/automation platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and API-based integrations.
• Experience with Git and modern source control practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain automation for Windows Server lifecycle.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Packer.
• Create reusable roles, modules, APIs, and automation components.
• Automate Windows Server configuration including domain integration, networking, security, and prerequisites.
• Build golden images for VMware, AWS, Azure and other platforms.
• Integrate automation with VMware, AWS, Azure, AD, DNS/IPAM, CMDB and monitoring.
• Consume REST APIs and platform SDKs to automate operations.
• Develop workflows to manage VMs, datacenters, datastores, and configuration metadata.
• Support modernization, upgrades, migrations, and retirement of legacy infra.
• Develop event-driven automation and remediation workflows.
• Troubleshoot failures across Windows, networks, APIs, clouds, and integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain CI/CD practices.
