Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands – Lexington facility is seeking a Production Associate 2 to support window and door assembly. You will operate hand tools, lift and pack products, and help maintain safety and quality while meeting production rates.

The role requires the ability to follow standard work, communicate issues, and assist with training across multiple stations. We offer full‑time hours, competitive pay, and benefits; candidates should be able to stand 8–10 hours, work in hot/cold

Qualifications

• Ability to read at least minimum word and number recognition/visual cues.
• Operate power tools with dexterity and follow PPE rules.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurements and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work and reference instructions.
• Knowledge of product defects at workstation.
• Quality recognition in station requirements.
• Communicate effectively; listen and share important info.
• Manage time and respect cycle times.
• Operate computer systems for data entry and retrieval.
• Stand for 8 to 10 hours with safe posture.
• Perform root-cause problem solving.
• Be dependable and punctual.
• Train operators and oversee multiple workstations.
• Follow schedules and ensure line flow.
• Willing to cross-train across departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support and participate in employee engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times and safety practices.
• Work to established rates per customer demand and standard operations.
• Contribute to improving standard work for quality windows for customers.
• Identify and communicate issues promptly.
• Assist with training of co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace and teamwork across shifts.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed by supervision.
