Job summary

Kinect is seeking a hands-on Vulnerability Threat Remediation Engineer to reduce risk across a large enterprise Windows environment. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, patching, remediation, and automation rather than governance.

Candidate should bring 5+ years of Windows Server/desktop administration, strong troubleshooting, patch deployment, and experience with SCCM/Intune/Tenable. Bonus for Autopatch, Linux, or Azure exposure and cross-team collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windows Server and desktop administration experience.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including blue screens/system crashes.
• Hands-on experience deploying patches and software, troubleshooting failed deployments, and resolving underlying issues.
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, Patch My PC and Tenable.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience with Python automation.
• Experience performing vulnerability remediation in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Ability to work effectively across Security, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering and business teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Autopatch, Linux and/or Azure is a plus.
• Candidates may come from Windows Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, SCCM/Intune, Patch Management or Vulnerability Remediation backgrounds.

We’re looking for a hands-on Vulnerability Threat Remediation Engineer to help reduce security risk across a large enterprise Windows environment. This is a highly technical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, patching, remediation and automation — not a governance-focused security position.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of Windows Server and desktop administration experience
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including blue screens/system crashes
• Hands‑on experience deploying patches and software, troubleshooting failed deployments, and resolving underlying issues
• Experience with SCCM, Intune, Patch My PC and Tenable

• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware and SQL
• Experience performing vulnerability remediation in large-scale enterprise environments
• Ability to work effectively across Security, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering and business teams
