Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled Windows/AD Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server platforms and virtualization environments. You will develop automated workflows, support vRA/vRO, and provide root-cause analyses to improve system reliability.

Role emphasizes design and implementation of technical solutions, high availability, DR planning, and collaboration with infrastructure teams. Experience with VMware, Nutanix, Zerto and ServiceNow APIs is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory issues.
• Excellent scripting skills (PowerShell, shell, JavaScript).
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs and automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide root cause analysis for Windows platform issues.
• Act as subject matter expert for Windows, Active Directory, patching, P2V, cybersecurity risks.
• Design and implement technical solutions for platform and application setup.
• Administer and maintain Windows server infrastructure, ensure high availability and DR.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows 2008,2012,2016, 2019, 2022, 2025 server platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on VM ware, Nutanix platforms, Zerto
• Experience on Troubleshooting Active Directory AD issues
• Ability to support the automation environment including troubleshooting vRA and vRO issue
• Develop and document automated workflows
• Experience with Service now APIs
• Provide Root cause analysis for Windows platform related issues
• Subject matter Expert of Windows, Active directory, Tech Specs, Patching, P2V, cybersecurity risks
• Design and implement technical solutions of platform and application set up
• Administer and maintain Windows server infrastructure, Provide High availability (HA) , Disaster recover (DR)
• Manage and configure VMware virtualization environments, including vSphere, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for Windows based systems

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
