Job summary

RCG, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a federal customer in Hawaii.

This role will focus on hands‑on administration, operation, maintenance, security, and lifecycle support for enterprise Windows systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT systems administration experience, with strong Windows Server and Active Directory expertise, plus familiarity with STIG configurations and Linux options such as Red Hat.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT systems administration experience, including hands‑on work with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience implementing and maintaining STIG configurations in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of system security, log monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, file servers, and DHCP servers.
• Integrate systems and applications into the enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environment.
• Support Microsoft Windows servers, desktops, laptops, and audiovisual devices.
• Provide integration support for Red Hat Linux servers and workstations.
• Support enterprise BigFix services for endpoint management and system administration.
• Lead and maintain enterprise Windows configurations and perform system upgrades.
• Provide data backup, restoration, and recovery support.
• Document system changes, configurations, and updates.
