Job summary

RCG, Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Administrator for an on-site role in Hawaii supporting a federal customer environment. You will perform hands-on administration, operation, and lifecycle support for enterprise Windows systems, AD, and related infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT systems administration, strong Windows Server and AD skills, and experience with STIG configurations, patching, security monitoring, and Linux support. Public Trust clearance required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT systems administration experience, including at least 3 years hands-on administering Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Experience with STIG configurations in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of system security, log monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
• Experience with backup, restoration, and recovery processes.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint management and patching tools; BigFix experience is highly desirable.
• Experience integrating or supporting Red Hat Linux systems within an enterprise environment is preferred.
• Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in an on-site federal IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, file servers, and DHCP servers.
• Integrate systems and applications into the enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environment.
• Support Microsoft Windows servers, desktops, laptops, and AV devices.
• Provide integration support for Red Hat Linux servers and workstations.
• Support enterprise BigFix services for endpoint management and system administration.
• Lead and maintain enterprise Windows configurations.
• Upgrade systems to current supported Microsoft operating system versions.
• Perform user and system account administration, including account creation, permission changes, access management, and account removal.
• Provision, manage, monitor, and restore network communications.
• Provide data backup, restoration, and recovery support.
