Job summary

Reston Consulting Group Inc in Hawaii is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a federal customer with hands-on administration, operation, and lifecycle support for enterprise Windows systems and related infrastructure.

The role requires strong Windows Server/AD expertise, STIG configuration experience, BigFix familiarity, and the ability to work on-site in a federal environment in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant IT systems administration experience, including at least 3 years on Windows Server/AD.
• Strong skills in system security, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing STIG configurations in an enterprise environment.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in a federal IT environment in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft Windows Active Directory infrastructure and domain controllers.
• Provide integration for enterprise Windows and Red Hat Linux environments and BigFix endpoint management.
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade system hardware and software.
• Monitor logs, resolve security issues, and maintain documentation of changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal IT policies and lifecycle management practices.
