Job summary

Clayton is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all phases of window manufacturing, working with a cross-functional team including Production, Materials, Sales, HR, and Engineering. The role emphasizes leadership, budget development, and process improvement to cut lead-times and costs.

Qualified candidates bring 5–7 years in manufacturing operations, strong safety focus, and proven ability to drive performance through Lean methods and Kaizen principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/operations or related field required.
• Minimum 5–7 years in Production or Operations management in manufacturing.
• P&L and commercial responsibility experience preferred.
• Prior experience in window production or related manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction for personnel development and engagement.
• Review production performance and identify training opportunities as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture.
• Lead by example to create a motivating environment across functions.
• Develop and approve budgets and monitor performance against objectives.
• Improve production processes using Lean, 6S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TQM.
• Coordinate use of facilities, equipment, materials, and manpower.
