Hayward Lumber is seeking a Window and Door Specialist in Santa Barbara, CA. You will support the sales team by guiding customers through product selection, processing orders, and preparing quotes to ensure a seamless sales experience.

The role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting customer needs and maintaining showroom displays.

Qualifications

• Experience in window and door sales or related role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of window/door products, materials, energy ratings, installation practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills for managing quotes, orders, and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and process orders; coordinate with vendors and purchasing for availability and delivery.
• Assist walk-in customers with knowledgeable recommendations on products, materials, styles, and options.
• Maintain accurate quotes and orders in the system (BisTrack) and update pipelines.
• Build relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends, product innovations, and building codes to educate customers.
