Job summary

Southern Lumber & Millwork in Charleston, SC is seeking a Window & Door Service Manager to lead our growing service department. You will coordinate service requests, schedule four technicians and one coordinator, assist with diagnostics, and communicate with homeowners and contractors.

The role involves on-site visits, problem solving, and ensuring repairs follow manufacturer guidance. You will build processes as the department expands and mentor a team committed to high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service team handling window and door products.
• Strong scheduling and coordination abilities for field technicians.
• Excellent communication with homeowners, contractors, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of diagnosing window/door issues and advising repairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead four Field Service Technicians and one Service Coordinator.
• Create and manage daily schedules and service calls.
• Coordinate routes and appointments across the Charleston area.
• Guide diagnostics and service strategies for complex issues.
• Occasionally visit jobsites to assess service challenges.
• Maintain quality by ensuring parts, tools, and information are ready.
