Job summary

Holmes Lumber, a division of Carter Lumber, is seeking a Window & Door Service Technician to install windows and doors on new construction projects. A strong commitment to customer service and knowledge of windows and doors are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities include installation/repairs, warranty work, performance testing, and maintaining safety on the job site while delivering high-quality workmanship. Benefits are available for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and repairing windows/doors is helpful but not required.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and tools required.
• Ability to work under time constraints with strong work ethic.
• Good math skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 32 ft.

Responsibilities

• Installation/Repairs: assess jobsite, execute quality installations and repairs.
• Perform repairs on warranty products using appropriate tools.
• Conduct window and door performance tests.
• Maintain a safe work environment on site.
