Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of the Carolinas and Southwest Virginia is seeking an Installation Technician to handle all installation and upkeep within two years of installation. You will deliver exceptional customer service and support the value proposition in line with company strategy.

Key duties include monitoring workloads, working with service teams and installers, and performing on-site diagnostics and repairs on windows and doors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of construction/maintenance or related field experience preferred.
• Must meet driver qualification and insurability.
• Able to lift/move 100+ lbs. daily.
• Able to work from ladders and scaffolding.
• Proactive ownership of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Installations and upkeep within two years of installation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and align with company strategy.
• Monitor workload via daily dashboard and ensure efficient installations.
• Serve as field contact for service team and Installers; supervise 3rd party crews.
• Communicate project progress using laptop, iPad, and iPhone reports/photos.
• Diagnose issues and determine repair path for windows and doors; explain actions to customers.
• Perform hands-on service: sash/glass replacement, hardware installation, panel replacement, to improve operation.
