Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select exterior and interior building products for roofing, remodeling, and related projects. You will answer phones, enter orders, and coordinate pickups and deliveries with the warehouse, while up-selling additional items.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a detail-focused approach to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in window and door estimating is required.
• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies.
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.
