Job summary

Waunakee Remodeling, Inc. is seeking a Window & Door Install Foreman to oversee a single job site under supervision. You will lead installations with support from an Install Assistant, ensuring quality workmanship and homeowner satisfaction.

You will review scope, manage materials, train and mentor installers, and uphold safety standards while delivering on schedule. This role requires carpentry experience and a valid driver's license, with travel throughout Dane County.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with general and finish carpentry including window and door installation preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee single site job installation processes and homeowner satisfaction.
• Provide flawless first time window and door installation in accordance with installation procedures.
• Daily review of scope of work and materials to ensure proper installation.
• Make necessary decisions about work site set up, workflow and proper installation techniques.
• Address installation concerns with the Field Technician or Production Manager.
• Provide direction, training, coaching and mentoring to an Installer and/or a Helper.
• Build and sustain positive homeowner relations and assist in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain a mindset of continual self-learning and development of skills.
• Adhere to proper safety techniques at all times while at work, on the job site and in company vehicles.

They can demand regularly lifting or moving 50 lbs and up to 90 lbs with assistance. Climbing ladders. Using power and hand tools. And more.* Working conditions require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. And frequently requires the use of personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to noise, heights, and hazardous materials.* The work schedule is typically Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm and can vary based on the job scope.* 95% travel required in and around Dane County. The remaining 5% is on the road or at our Waunakee Warehouse.
