Job Summary
Window & Door Installers at Wauankee Remodeling work in 2‑man teams to ensure work‑site set up, perform basic to routine window or door installations and removals, and perform job‑site tear‑down and cleanup in accordance with Renewal by Andersen’s guidelines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Install window and door products in accordance with Company standards and processes.
Effectively prepare the job site for safe setup and tear‑down.
Collaborate with Production leaders throughout the installation project to maximize efficiencies, proper tear‑outs, and installation techniques.
Build and sustain positive homeowner relations and assist in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Maintain a mindset of continual self‑learning and development of skills.
Adhere to proper safety techniques at all times while maintaining a clean and orderly job site.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year general carpentry experience preferred.
Required Skills
A valid Wisconsin driver’s license and an excellent driving record are desired.
Work Environment
Physical demands are typical to those of construction work. They can require regularly lifting or moving 50 lbs and up to 90 lbs with assistance, climbing ladders, using power and hand tools, and more.
Working conditions require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions, and frequently require the use of personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to noise, heights, and hazardous materials.
The work schedule is typically Monday‑Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and can vary based on the job scope.
50% travel required in and around Dane County; the remaining 50% is on the road or at our Waunakee Warehouse.
