Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- At least 10 years of PLM domain experience
- At least 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions for business problems by driving decisions and alignment between business and technical partners
- At least 5 years of experience with PLM in the Medical Devices industry
- At least 5 years of experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink
- At least 3 years of experience with PTC Windchill MPMLink
- At least 2 instances of Windchill-ERP integration implementations
Additional requirements include:
- Minimum 1 year practical knowledge of relational databases and SQL querying of Oracle databases
- Experience leading a globally distributed and remote team
- Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Independent working style with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously
Roles & Responsibilities
The Product Analyst (PA) IT Lead for MedTech R&D Product Lifecycle Management at Pharmaceutical is responsible for leading the delivery of system updates for the enterprise-wide PLM platform, PTC Windchill. This role requires a deep understanding of the PLM system and data architecture to support the digital thread of product data across systems.
Assist in:
- Understanding user challenges and system opportunities; translating them into detailed user stories, requirements, and bugs; supporting documentation such as process flows, mockups, and functional design guidance
- Evaluating requests for technical feasibility and solution alignment
- Performing fit/gap analysis comparing current system state with business needs
- Leading a squad as the Product Analyst by setting priorities, defining scope, and communicating the roadmap to globally distributed teams
- Educating partners on PLM capabilities and data architecture
- Driving resolution of production system issues and mitigating impacts to business operations
- Collaborating with Product and Platform Managers to align delivery with business value and priorities
- Managing dependencies with other squads and stakeholders
Additional Skills & Certifications
- Certification in SAFe
- Technical background in data architecture, API development/design, and PLM system integrations (PTC Client framework)
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
