Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician for the Oso Grande Windfarm in Maljimar, NM. You will service, diagnose, and maintain wind turbines, delivering safe, high-quality technical work orders while collaborating with teammates.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in wind turbine tech; a technical degree or certifications are a plus. A valid driver's license and ability to work at height are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years as Wind Turbine Technician desirable.
• Technical college degree, certification(s), or apprenticeships in electrical/mechanical systems desirable.
• Various combinations of education, training and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the improvement of field procedures and standard methodologies.
• Work inside wind turbine enclosures at heights up to 300 feet.
• Maintain composure during stressful or hazardous situations.
• Meet physical demands and weather exposure requirements.
• Tackle additional roles at an operating wind farm.
