Job summary

Vestas is seeking skilled technicians to join our Field Operations team in Oklahoma. This intermediate-level role focuses on maintenance and installation of wind turbines, using electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills to keep turbines running safely and efficiently.

You’ll work outdoors, heights up to 250 feet, and collaborate with a team to follow safety protocols while mentoring entry-level technicians. Valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Wind industry experience or related technical background.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with intermediate power tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or installation work on wind turbines.
• Follow safety protocols and written instructions.
• Mentor entry-level technicians when applicable.
• Collaborate with customers and co-workers to complete tasks.
