Job summary

Vestas seeks a Wind Site Technician in the United States to install, maintain, and repair wind turbines, ensuring safety and reliable energy delivery. You’ll work with a team to troubleshoot issues, document work, and optimize turbine performance, with training provided in GWO standards and full PPE.

Eligible candidates have a Wind Tech certificate or wind turbine experience, basic mechanical/electrical skills, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and fluency in English.

• Wind Tech certificate or wind turbine experience or mechanical/electrical field experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and responsible attitude.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in teams.
• Must speak/read English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document your work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to support clear tracking of task duration, progress, and operational efficiency.
