Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician to ensure smooth operation of wind turbines through maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issue resolution. This role supports reliable energy delivery and requires readiness to work in outdoor environments and at heights.

You will participate in safety training, PPE provisions, and certification programs such as GWO, with opportunities for career growth within an international wind energy leader.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or 1 year of wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and inspections.
• Willingness to work at heights and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to support tracking of duration and efficiency.
