Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support turbine operations at our wind site. The role requires daily site work, safety compliance, and collaboration with the Site Lead and Manager to meet contract timelines.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues, document work in our service reporting system, and coordinate with GE's remote operations center as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician/wind mechanic experience or wind certificate program/associate degree, or 2 years electrical work experience with knowledge assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to execute contractual obligations and activities.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist in site operations with minimal supervision and safety compliance.
• Perform some diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
