Job summary

Transportation Partners & Logistics is seeking a maintenance traveling wind technician with Acciona turbine experience to join our field teams. You will inspect, install, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines while working with strong leadership and a dedicated crew.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, tower climbs, and reporting. Candidates must have Acciona AW3000 experience, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to work long

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in morning safety meeting.
• Completes inspection of equipment and tools for safe use.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis
• Inspect the exterior and physical integrity of the tower.
• Climb towers to inspect, troubleshoot, or repair turbine equipment.
• Test electrical components and systems, as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions
• Service underground transmission systems, wind field substations, or fiber optic sensing and control systems
• Replace worn or malfunctioning components.
• Follow maintenance manual and standard operating procedures for performing maintenance on wind turbine parts.
• Complete and validate written and electronic progress reports
• Complete end of day housekeeping.
• Performs other job-related duties.
