Job summary

Vestas seeks a CPX Technical Supervisor to act as SME for wind turbine installation and commissioning on site. You will lead onsite technicians, interface with customer reps, and ensure adherence to Vestas procedures and quality standards.

You will provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate manpower with regional leadership, with a strong emphasis on safety and project execution. Passport and valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership with strong technical, safety and quality focus.
• Proficient use of hydraulic, torque, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics and identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for turbine installation, mechanical completion, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary technical interface between Vestas and customer representatives.
• Communicate project status, schedules, technical specs, quality concerns, and risks.
• Maintain knowledge of Turbine Supply Agreements, project contracts, and commercial obligations.
• Support project control and scheduling by identifying technical or schedule-related risks.
• Coordinate staffing and training needs with Resource Managers and leadership.
• Prioritize safety above production objectives.
• Read and implement QHSE requirements and project directives.
• Coordinate with SCADA, plant network engineers, and customer substation personnel.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, controls, and software issues.
• Perform mechanical completion inspections and quality verifications.
