Job summary

Darwin Recruitment in the United States is seeking an on-site wind turbine installation technician to assist with onshore turbine installation, support tower, nacelle, and blade activities, and perform basic commissioning under supervision.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of wind experience, familiarity with Vestas, ability to read technical docs, and a strong focus on HSE. Travel and on-site presence are required; GWO training and Vestas level C installation are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of wind turbine installation or similar field experience
• Experience working with Vestas systems and components
• Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices on site
• Comfortable working at height and in outdoor environments
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required
• GWO safety and GWO BTT training; Vestas level C installation preferred
