Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking a Turbine Engineer III to support wind turbine engineering and improve energy capture through reliability and efficiency enhancements. The role reports to the Manager of Turbine Engineering, Operations and involves data analysis, on-site project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) with 4+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 4+ years of relevant technical experience, wind power preferred.
• Ability to read plans and drawings (one-line, three-line, hydraulic, wiring).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions to improve plant performance and reliability.
• Analyze SCADA tags and other data to resolve issues.
• Drive CAPEX/OPEX planning with technical input.
• Provide on-site project management during projects.
• Develop data analytical models for wind plant performance.
• Produce detailed technical reports with root-cause analyses and payback evaluations.
