Job summary

ONYX Insight is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the safe deployment of electronic hardware across wind turbine fleets in North America. This hands-on leadership role combines people management, project delivery and technical oversight.

You will work closely with customers, Sales, engineering teams, subcontractors and Safety to deliver projects on time and within budget while upholding QA/QC standards and field safety.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering remote device installation programs at scale in complex environments.
• Experience managing field teams, subcontractors, vendors or field service providers.
• People management, supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and deployment quality management.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 3-5 field-facing engineers, managing workload and development.
• Oversee deployment projects from handover to completion within scope and budget.
• Manage project planning, QA/QC, reporting, resources and risk.
• Act as escalation point for field engineering and customer issues.
• Review deployment scope estimates and support Sales in discussions.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and service providers.
• Champion safe field operations with risk assessments and PPE.
• Provide technical support for ONYX sensing hardware and inspection tech.
