Job summary

ONYX Insight seeks an Engineering Manager to lead field installation of hardware across a North American portfolio of wind turbines. You will oversee end-to-end deployment, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, while coordinating with Sales, Wind Turbine Health Monitoring, subcontractors, vendors, and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering remote device installation programs at scale in complex environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field service providers.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and deployment quality management.
• Previous experience in a people management or team leadership capacity.
• Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 3-5 field-facing engineers, including workload distribution, performance reviews, and development.
• Drive deployment projects from handover to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Support deployment scope reviews, estimates, and project costs with Sales during customer engagements.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery.
• Promote safety culture, PPE programs, risk assessments, and field compliance.
• Serve as a technical resource for ONYX sensing hardware and inspection technologies and assist customers.
