Job summary

ONYX Insight is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the installation of electronic hardware devices across our wind turbine deployment portfolio in North America. This hands-on role oversees end-to-end deployment projects, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with Sales, Wind Turbine Health Monitoring, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering remote device installation programs at scale in complex environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field service providers.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and deployment quality management.
• Proven leadership, supervisory, or people-management experience.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide day-to-day leadership to a team of 3–5 field-facing engineers, including workload distribution and performance development.
• Lead deployment projects from handover through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget alignment.
• Oversee project planning, documentation, QA/QC activities, performance tracking and reporting.
• Provide engineering review of deployment scope, estimates, and project costs; partner with Sales during engagements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers; monitor performance and compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all deployment activities and manage PPE programs.
