Job summary

ONYX Insight is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the installation of electronic hardware devices across our customers' wind turbines in the North American market. You will oversee end-to-end deployment, ensuring scope, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Leading a 3-5 person field-facing team, you will coordinate with Sales, Wind Turbine Health Monitoring, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Safety & Customer teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering remote device installation programs at scale in complex environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors and field service providers.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and deployment quality management.
• Previous experience in a people management, supervisory, or team leadership capacity.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment projects from handover through completion, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Oversee project planning, documentation, QA/QC activities, performance tracking and reporting.
• Manage project risks, resources and priorities to support successful execution.
• Provide engineering review of deployment scope, estimates and project costs.
• Partner with Sales during customer engagements, technical discussions and industry events.
• Develop deployment-related tools, templates and documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all deployment activities.
• Manage PPE programs, review field risk assessments and support compliance requirements.
• Support training and onboarding of field personnel.
• Serve as a technical resource for ONYX sensing hardware and inspection technologies.
• Support customer meetings, issue resolution and deployment-related technical inquiries.
• Work across teams to address customer feedback and drive continuous improvement.
