Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Product Definition Engineer to translate complex blade concepts into precise technical documentation guiding design to industrialization. You will manage EBOMs/MBOM, perform stack-up and GD&T work, and ensure data integrity in PLM systems during protobuild and manufacturing handoffs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Aerospace and 5+ years in mechanical design, with experience in large composite structures or turbine blades preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience with large-scale composite structures or turbine blade components is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings for blade components.
• Prepare manufacturing and quality documentation for blade components/process.
• Perform stack-up analysis to meet design requirements.
• Provide on-site support for protobuild startup and validation.
• Lead design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects per standards.
• Present or review in technical and program reviews.
