Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Product Definition Engineer to translate complex blade concepts into precise technical documentation, driving projects from design through industrialization. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and sourcing, ensuring smooth prototyping and startup at Proto build facilities.

The role demands strong BOM management, GD&T expertise, and PLM proficiency, with a focus on delivering high‑quality outputs on demanding timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably large‑scale composites or turbine blades.
• Proven track record leading the product definition phase for at least 1 full NPI cycle.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings for blade components and design changes.
• Produce manufacturing and quality documentation for blade components and processes.
• Perform stack‑up analysis to meet design requirements.
• Provide on‑site support for proto builds, test blades, and 0‑series production startup.
• Conduct design/analysis/evaluation per engineering principles and project needs.
• Participate as presenter or reviewer in technical/program reviews.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and maintain data integrity in PLM systems.
