Job summary

Gulf Wind Technology is seeking an entry‑level Composite Field Technician to support repair and maintenance of wind turbine blades and structures under supervision. The role involves surface preparation, material handling, and following approved procedures while progressing through training requirements.

This is a physically demanding, safety‑sensitive field position with travel to sites, including overseas deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• GWO Basic Safety Training required or ability to obtain before deployment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures in English.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain passport for international travel.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and maintenance activities under direct supervision, including surface prep and finishing.
• Handle, store, and control repair materials per requirements.
• Execute lockout/tagout and turbine isolation procedures as trained.
• Travel to project sites for extended deployments, domestic and international, as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; document work records.
