Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Blade Components team. This role provides hands‑on experience in the design, analysis, and evaluation of wind blade components, collaborating with senior engineers to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will help bridge design concepts to manufacturable parts across the full product lifecycle. You will work with Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams, gaining experience across the lifecycle from field issue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical design understanding with metallic/composite components.
• Experience building metallic or composite prototypes.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Learn from senior engineers to resolve field quality issues and support production processes.
• Support the full engineering lifecycle from scoping to design and analysis tasks.
• Develop blade component concepts balancing structural integrity with manufacturability.
• Collaborate across Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams to meet project goals.
