Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Snyder, Texas is seeking a Wind Technician for the Camp Springs Energy Center to operate and maintain a 250.5 MW wind facility. The role requires climbing towers, mechanical/electrical maintenance on GE turbines, and adherence to safety protocols.

You will troubleshoot faults, replace components as needed, and keep tooling and work areas organized in a 40-hour schedule with overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and related equipment.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of turbine components.
• Troubleshoot faults; repair or replace components as needed.
• Maintain tooling, facilities and a clean, safe work environment.
• Work a 40-hour week with overtime during peak maintenance periods.
