Sky Climber Renewables' TOP Wind Service Technician Level 1 program offers an entry-level path into wind power with exclusive safety and technical training accredited through the Global Wind Organization (GWO). Technicians work at a local wind site as part of a service team to ensure safe, efficient turbine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless actively relocating to the area.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
