Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a Wind Technician Level 1 under the Tech One Program (TOP) to perform basic wind turbine maintenance and upgrades. Training is provided and accreditation is through the Global Wind Organization (GWO).

The role involves working at a wind site near your home, traveling as needed, and joining a safety-focused service team to ensure reliable power generation. Strong English skills and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
