Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources in Peetz, CO is seeking a Wind Technician III (Entry Level) to join the frontline team ensuring safe and optimal wind farm operations. You will perform field-based maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and support safety, environmental reporting, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or GED required.
• 0+ years experience preferred; open entry level.
• Valid driver's license (non CDL) required.
• Ability to climb wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval required.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventive maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment.
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Applies basic understanding of the technical and process functions.
• Manages own training schedules and meets training requirements.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
