Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Wind Technician III (Entry Level) for the Cisco, TX site. You will perform field maintenance, diagnostics, and support turbine availability while upholding safety and environmental practices.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, climb towers, and collaborate with teams on maintenance, lean projects, and performance goals. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or GED.
• Experience: 0+ years.
• Valid driver's license (non CDL) required.
• Ability to climb wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Post-offer Functional Capacity Eval.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain company equipment, facilities and tooling.
• Apply basic understanding of technical and process functions.
• Manage own training schedules and meet training requirements.
• Meet attendance requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
