This position is based at an upcoming wind project located in Moriarty, NM. Employees hired into this position will be working full-time in Moriarty beginning in June 2025. Prior to then, employees will participate in an accelerated on-the-job training program involving travel to existing wind farms across the United States.

WHO WE ARE
We seek dedicated technicians passionate about protecting our planet through renewable wind energy. As a Vestas technician, you’ll apply your electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills, prioritizing safety for yourself and your team.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICIAN
This advanced-level role requires you to utilize your skills, equipment knowledge, and self-direction to perform maintenance on wind turbines with minimal supervision. You will modify procedures, develop action plans, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level technicians.
You may work at heights of 250 feet or in confined spaces, performing repairs and maintenance outdoors in varying weather conditions. Climbing, carrying tools, and moving parts are typical parts of your daily tasks.
Teamwork, professionalism, safety, and attention to detail are core values here. We encourage suggestions to improve safety and work quality.
MORE ABOUT YOU
You must be willing to participate in a travel-intensive training program before June 2025, which may include overtime and variable schedules. Candidates unable to commit to full-time travel can apply for future openings at this location.
