Put your career into gear with Interstate Fleet Services, a leader in the fleet repair industry, with an immediate opening for a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in our Albuquerque, NM area operation.

You will work remotely, being on call (no office to report to), and drive to customer breakdown or work-site locations upon dispatch to perform emergency repairs on commercial trucks, trailers, etc.

Repairs include, but are not limited to, no starts, brakes, compressed air systems, tires, electrical repairs, trailer repairs, hydraulic line replacements, etc.

You will also communicate with dispatchers and customers throughout each job.

Minimum Requirements

• Must reside in or near Albuquerque, NM.
• Valid driver's license (NO CDL required).
• Own basic hand tools up to 1 inch drive.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Service Tech, either in a shop or mobile roadside service. Recent diesel school graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willing to work irregular on-call hours in all weather conditions.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and all random testing thereafter.
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers.
