Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Technician III! As an Energy Technician III, you will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Your responsibilities will include installing energy-efficient equipment, conducting pre- and post-installation verifications, and gathering technical data within a defined territory.

Successful candidates will reside in Nashville, Tennessee, for daily travel within the region, and be able to travel for weeklong periods in the southeast.

• Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
• Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement according to client specifications
• Record and report customer and contractor interactions to program staff to ensure compliance with program requirements
• Provide input and status updates regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to installation in accordance with client specifications
• Act as a local, on-site representative to customers and contractors to encourage participation and overcome barriers
• Travel throughout a defined territory

Type of Work

• Ability to work in-person in multiple homes per day (this is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers’ homes)

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or driving on behalf of the company. Individuals offered conditional employment must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to a motor vehicle report. Applicants for driving roles must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

Compensation Range

$21.10 - $31.70 USD hourly
