A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this intermediate level position, you'll use your skills and training to perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision. You will be provided with defined schedules and procedures, including safety protocols and instructions, and may mentor entry-level technicians.

During a typical day, you may work 250 feet above the ground or in small spaces to perform maintenance and repairs. You'll be outside, sometimes in challenging weather conditions, climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts. Teamwork is essential, and professionalism, safety, and attention to detail are highly valued. We also encourage suggestions to improve safety and work quality.

MORE ABOUT YOU

• You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• You hold a valid driver's license
• You possess a safety-focused mindset
• Your positive attitude contributes to teamwork, and you're motivated and proactive in daily tasks
• You can identify solutions through troubleshooting
• You have at least 1 year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
• You can climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• You are familiar with intermediate power tools (hydraulic, torque, diagnostic tools, e.g., Fluke meter, hydraulic pressure gauge)
• You have basic computer skills, can navigate internet-based programs, and interpret data
• You can read and understand drawings and schematics, and follow safety protocols (e.g., confined space, energy isolation)
