Job summary

NextEra Energy's Hart Wind team seeks a Wind Technician Leader (Advanced) to supervise field maintenance and ensure safe, reliable wind farm operations at Hart, TX.

You will lead technicians, perform diagnostics, and drive safety and performance while coordinating with site management and internal NextEra users. Requires 5+ years in a technical field or a technical certificate/degree and the ability to climb a turbine up to 300 feet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field or completion of a technical certificate/degree program.
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
• Post-Offer Functional Capacity Eval may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the selection and training of team members.
• Prepares and reviews administrative documentation (time sheets, performance evaluations).
• Assists Site Manager in reports regarding operations, maintenance, and budgeting.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
