The role requires a wind technician background or related mechanical/electrical experience, safety-mindedness, and the ability to work at heights. Training, PPE, and certification programs are provided, with a sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate or 1 year of wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Safety-focused and committed to best practices.
• Able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities for tracking duration and efficiency.
