Job summary

Vestas seeks a Wind Site Technician II for Garden City, TX (Bearkat site). The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with possible overtime and Saturdays. You will inspect and repair wind turbines, follow safety protocols, and contribute to performance improvements.

Training and PPE are provided to support skill development and safe practice. Requirements include wind technician certification or related experience, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or alternative wind turbine experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work without sponsorship in the U.S. and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with the team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document work and improve operational processes.
• Time-code all work activities to track task duration and efficiency.
