Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Wind Site Technician II at the Cisco, TX (Ranchland Site) to ensure smooth turbine operation, address maintenance and system issues, and support safety-focused execution. The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime and access to extensive training.

Qualifications include a Wind Technician certificate or wind turbine experience, plus mechanical or electrical background.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Safety-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work well with others and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document your work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to support tracking of task duration, progress, and efficiency.
